Yeezus is where I draw the line with Kanye cause it was the last time he was edgy in a good way, but honestly, I enjoy TLOP cause it's just a good-sounding album, albeit messy from all the incomplete or unnecessarily altered final versions of tracks on the album.

Namely: New Slaves, Blood on the Leaves, and Black Skinhead

Every album from there has maybe a track or two that has flashes but he's sometimes ironically prescient while not actually learning from it at all and continuing his manic depressive rabbit hole chase to the bottom, mentally.

This album is very good from a technical standpoint but I need another listen or two to see how I feel overall about it

It's definitely not in my top 2 kendrick albums as of right now but it's certainly ambitious

Easily better than most of the bullshit rap being released these days but that's not saying much

The album is unapologetically black too but just doesn't have the in-your-face song titles like "the blacker the berry". You have to work a little more and listen more closely to the words to get the point than usual. Real talk, this album isn't for someone like Fantano.
