honestly can't recall a worse performance since South Korea tbh, he put the clearly bent opening game into perspective of what a genuinely poo poo performance meant.

If anyone has any other examples of referees seriously endangering the players tho that'd be cool. This wasn't even acceptably poo poo like Croatia, neymar just had his back broken by this oval office not having the bottle to suspend players for the semi and it'd be outrageous if he ever refs this level again.

I'm watching the replay, the multiple fouls/scuffle/botched free kick at 23 minutes is the moment you see the referee no longer having anything to do with the match. He allowed a fight and a stolen free kick, utterly pathetic.
