Gigi Galli posted:Reviving this thread because it appears the entire league has been put to a halt by the authorities: (in Italian, sorry) http://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Estero/25-02-2015/violenza-fuori-controllo-grecia-sospende-campionato-1001024681739.shtml It did, the Deputy Minister for Sport asked the PM for permission to suspend the Superleague, after violence at last weekend's derby between Panathinaikos and Olympiacos and the subsequent meeting of their owners at which they physically assaulted each other. No idea about its repercussions or how long it will last. None of the owners are too happy about it, but then again they're not happy about much, ever. Refereeing remains skewed and untrustworthy and Hugh Dallas' appointment (and resignation) didn't do much to help. Also sorry for abandoning this thread, but I've been way too busy irl to do a weekly write-up. Everything as it always is, Olympiacos is at the top, Panathinaikos and PAOK are snapping at its heels, all the other teams are just languishing mid-table or fighting for survival (lol OFI).
