Pathologic is actually quite straightforward, and everybody should play it. Buuuut if you definitely don't want to play it and you're looking for a more straightforward LP, revolving around the slightly more straightforward starting characters of the Bachelor and the Haruspicus, it can be found offsite here. It's a very well-written SSLP/AAR which has two different players playing through the game concurrently as the two different characters. It's amazing how the game shapes their viewpoints, and leaves each of them unable to understand or sympathize with the other's actions. Very worthwhile reading.
