I don't think there was ever a clear moment that broke it for me. Can't really remember ever thinking clearly one way or another that it was worked or not back in my heyday of watching it in the late 90s at 10-13 years old. I just read Bret's book, and this thread made me remember the story of Duggan/Shiek getting arrested with massive amounts of drugs while driving to a show together. Apparently they were in a feud at the time.
