It would bend a lot. In other words the forces would be so ridiculous that it wouldn't keep up with itself. An easier to imagine scenario is say you have a long rod that is like light years long and you give it a push on one end. Essentially what happens is that the "movement" of the rod is a big "wave".like a slinky. Infortmation cannot arrive at a location faster than the speed of light, so that is how the motion of the rod would be limited. I imagine that the spinning rod would be similar except it would probably just snap.
