the IT people set up my work laptop with the bios set to RAID mode for the hard drive and iastordatamgrsvc.exe is taking up 30% of my CPU all the time

the fix is to change it to ahci mode in the bios but then windows bluescreens

i just disabled the service so it doesn't ever start, will anything bad happen
you could download the ahci drivers, force install those onto your hd controller, then reboot and change the bios setting to ahci

but don't do that

why do youtube embeds sometimes have full screen button and sometimes not?

anthonypants posted:

It's missing by default if you're using the HTML5 player. If you append allowfullscreen to the end of the youtube iframe embed tag, the button will show up. Someone can probably do that in a greasemonkey script or salr whatever people are using.

is CELL an excel function that self references?

it doesnt seem to work that way

when I swap it out for an actual cell number, and then try to replicate it by dragging, it doesnt work and flakes out

i have got through life having dodged using excel very much thus far
lol

make a new column B
in "cell" B69, put in the characters =A69/(86400)+"1/1/1970"
drag that down from "cell" B69 all the way down to B219 and it should copy that formula into each cell, autopopulating the "cell" in the formula from A69 to A70-A219

right-click the title bar, go to properties, change the buffer size

if you want it changed on subsequent cmd instances, right-click the title bar and go to defaults

sorry beeftweeter you're just going to have to call comcast get a tech to take a look. it's probably the line on the outside of your apartment/house, and the stuff in the logs is most likely a result of the lack of signal. good luck

the verge has an article about how everyone is recording calls with comcast customer service so maybe you could try that and post it online somewhere

verge score for comcast: 8.6

the other thing is probably bad shielding, hopefully on your speaker/monitor cables. if it's not that then it's bad shielding on your motherboard and lol
