I like Mass Effect. The ending was a tonal shift, but not unheard of in science fiction. I can totally see how other people would not like it, though. I'll have more to say when the time comes.

I don't know, A lot of the aliens are pretty racist too. I don't think Ashley is out of line being aware of the galactic situation. She's no warrior-philopspher or anything.
