If I remember right, that video had up to a Youtube-indicated 1080p. Video is still pretty watchable, but obviously not as excruciatingly gorgeous as it could be. Rest assured, you and your friend are still pretty cool in my eyes, 480p or not.  Please tell him some random fat-rear end moron on the internet appreciates your efforts.
