yeah i have misgivings about the "character will remember this" prompts because it's hinting at an underlying current that will affect the future when it's been proven that most of those prompts are just there to give a false feeling of consequence and permanence only major events are remembered and recalled later and that's like, well, yeah, no poo poo you remember me killing a person because i killed a loving person so obviously that colors your perception of me but you can throw all the shade or compliments you want, and the game will tell you "stucky roberts will remember this!" and it doesn't actually affect anything at all it's disingenuous story-telling and now i'm done peeing my diaper over this

The sad part is even the licensed stuff is slipping quality wise too (walking dead S2 isn't anywhere near as good as the first). It also doesn't help that I don't care at all about Got or borderlands.

If they were to do it again today, with all the experience they have behind them, I bet it would be even better. The problem with that sort of thing, though, is that the game was following the comic really closely, so there wasn't a lot of interpretation on their part that you see in Wolf Among Us and Walking Dead. If they ever went back to Bone (they won't) I'd much rather see them do an entirely new story. Throw some well-known characters in it to hook in the nerds. Having said all that Bone is literally 3/4ths of a good comic and then it goes into "uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh gently caress gotta end this somehow MAGIC POWERS the end"

Strong bad also owned and captured the tone of homestar runner well. It's pretty much the walking dead's fault telltale is knee deep in this licensed poo poo right?
