It's less trashy and better than what I was expecting. When I first heard of "locodol" though I assumed a sci-fi term like LOCOMOTIVE DOLL.

I was a huge fan of the mascot character tournament. The part where the Date Masamune's eyepatch opened up had me in stiches.

This show should be called Uogokoro-kun: The Animation instead. The mascot chara stuff is really much more interesting than the Locodols themselves. Liked the bit where the manager tells them that kids will copy everything you do so no more backflips, aight?
