Yeah. I think people try too hard to find meaning or reason when they like something or they don't, but it's perfectly valid when a piece of art gives you an emotional reaction and you don't analyze it. I hate hate hate Pollock's 1A. It's like this top heavy black hole that I just want to put my fist through. I love his 5. Either way, it's pretty cool that art can elicit that kind of reaction.

I don't really get that reaction when looking at a portrait. It's just like "yup that's a good painting of some dude. Who cares?"
