We can look forward to a personal apology from Michel Platini when/if PSG fails to win the Champions League

We would like to keep him, but it seems to me utopian to think that he will lower his salary to stay with us.

His agent is right to say that, with his current displays, he is more likely to get better offers.

But he loves the city and the club, so we’re going to talk.

Was in the local press today so who knows how well its translated

Bielsa and Labrune already had an open clash because of Labrune's transfer policy so I'd expect them to be rather clear about it, but from what I read the situation is just very messy. I'd imagine Marseille would try to keep Gignac at least until June, when his contract ends, but then again we're talking about French club presidents.

Caen and Nimes are under investigation for match fixing, they allegedly fixed their 1-1 draw late last year in Ligue 2. It allowed Nimes to avoid relegation and basically sealed promotion to Ligue 1 for Caen.

The payoff was supposedly done with cases of wine given to the Nimes players at halftime of that match.
