Although Sunday afternoon may be a good time as my Friday night and Saturday are mostly spoken for, and I prefer to avoid trying to play game on a Saturday night. Possibly tonight, although I'm trying to play Dio in the SEC tonight and generally my fiance doesn't like it when I play more than 1 game in a day. e: Let's try for sometime over the weekend. Yeah passing game did come through in that game, felt like you wanted to stack the box and I really needed to pass on early downs. Once I hit a couple deep passes, just wanted to keep pressing that instead of getting 2 yards on the ground. Then the defense did just enough, was surprised you didn't just get rid of the ball a bit more often on roll outs. Sly - Got time tomorrow?

The fact that I was even in a close game with a woefully under-matched team is satisfaction enough for me. I had little business being in the game at all after going down 21-0. First quarter was atrocious for me with 2 interceptions and a fumble that all lead to fast easy scores. Defense settled in and my offense eventually found a groove. Very tight game, and I still needed a late 4th quarter pick 6 to register my final points. Team remains deeply suspect, but really did a much better job in the 2nd half.

Second half INTs keep UCLA in a game I probably should have won by a couple scores, instead we went to double OT, where I went for 2 and got it, but didn't need it since I got a 4th down stop to win 43-35. Played like some poo poo in the 2nd half, was lucky to get away with it.

Ohio State controlled nearly the whole game, but needed a 2 pt conversion in OT to seal the W 57-56. Got the onside kick, left too much time on the clock with a batted down screen pass and gave up the tying score with 11 seconds left. Defense was completely optional for both teams. GG Wreckus second time in the past 3 games I've had to use a 2pt conversion in OT to win.

I'm going to play the parity card and say we are all slowly but surely progressing to a point of high play across the board making all these conference games tight affairs more often than not.
