Speaking of poo poo Merda FC's Allegri is apparently trying to bolster defense. Why? Chiellini, Barzagli, Ogbonna, Bonucci, and Caceres (when he is consistent). Unless he is goin for a 4atb which would be dumb. Juventus thrives on that 3-5-2.

He can play LB but prefers to attack, and I dont blame him. Hes a great player and being inhibited like that sucks. But they have Evra who can fill that role now. I think Chiellini can play on the right(?) but still, even though I want Juve to crash and burn, why gently caress up a working system? That won 3 scudetti

I like when Empoli gets to Serie A; they're about 20 kilometers away from Florence, in fact we refer to them as the "cugini di campagna" (the country cousins, but also the name of an italian pop band from the 70s like so: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GK1AzhJZSO0), but also because this happens: That's roughly 7-8k people on scooters driving towards Empoli on the superstrada (smaller, free kind of motorway), where only cars are allowed, escorted by the police. Traffic blocked for hours.

I thought Roma had the sexiest kits because they are real tight and you can female gaze at them ?

Well, you can support Cesena, who's third jersey is pink in honour of Marco Pantani (pink jersey is what the leader of the Giro d'Italia wears).

Here are my Serie A/Azzuri kits: Fiorentina 12/13 Third Kit. No name on the back. Fiorentina 13/14 Home kit. Mario Gomez. Match ready Fiorentina 12/13 Home kit. Jovetic. Name is corrupted on the back Napoli 11/12 Away kit. Inler. Match ready and skin tight Fiorentina 97/98 Away kit. Batistuta Fiorentina 12/13 Away kit. Joaquin. Signed by Rossi, Gomez, Joaquin, Vargas, and Borja Valero Italy 2012 Home kit. Chiellini. That's honestly have my collection. My thing is to get a kit every where I visit (passing through doesn't count). I still actually owe myself a few kits, mainly countries, but I negate this for Viola kits because I am a fan, and I wear Viola all the time.

I buy "Thai Version" shirts and have being buying both home and away Juve shirts every year for a few years now. I don't wear them, just collect them. I also have a legit 97/98 third (the blue one with the yellow stars on the shoulders and sony minidisc as the sponsor). Additionally, for reasons unknown, I own a Iaquinta Italy shirt.

Last time I wore a football shirt was when I was 10 and it was an Inter whatever year whatever season fake Vieri one. Thinking about buying a Lazio poo poo, they look ace and would even wear it to clubs or nights out.

I often keep hearing stories about racist football fans in Italy causing trouble with idiotic chants etc. I know it's a thing in most European countries, but Italian fans seem to be one of the worst offenders in this aspect. Is this a big problem with all Italian football clubs, or is it just the fans in certain cities and areas of Italy that are more prone to this kind of behavior?Ras Het posted:I have no football shirts since I am an adult. Anyone who doesn't wear a suit and tie every day shouldn't be allowed to vote imo.

So I was bandwagoning Roma since Michael Bradley was playing for them but now since he left I was wondering if I should stay bandwagoning them or should I try another team? I don't really have a reason to anymore but I guess it nice to cheer a winner and top team when I don't live in Italy nor Italian and the closest to a team that I have somewhat of a connection (Vicenza because my Dad was stationed there when he was in the army and now a high school friend is stationed there now for the air force) is in the 3rd division. Speaking of which do 3rd division games get streamed? It would be cool to watch Vicenza outside of a Coppa Italia game.

Ive just come back from a trip to Rome and I read Calcio while I was over there so I'm basically an authority on Italian footy now. I bought a Roma scarf while I was there and didn't get stabbed in the bum which was a bonus, saw a lot of football graffiti which was just a random name written in felt tip such as 'cesare prandelli' written on a bus stop or 'toto schillaci' on the side of a church. Love a bit of Serie A on the old BT sports, hoping for a strong showing from the most electrifying manager in football, my main man Rafa the Gaffer
