You were a biomechanical monstrosity that gained sentience and is now hunted by your creator and former brethren. Fortunately, you're undercover as a human. Another such demon has been murdered (not an easy thing to accomplish). Pursue those responsible through time and space before they do the same to you, or worse. And if you can manage to put a finger in God's eye in the process? All the better.

In March 1962, a great storm batters the east coast, leaving the old and quiet village of Port Of Queen Anne, Maryland stranded temporarily from the outside world and disrupting the fishing trade that supports its life. The next night, a young couple from respectable families are found dead in a field, under grisly circumstances. You are of one of the village's hunter families, trained from adolescence to defend it from the strange and horrific things that have always predated upon man. The signal fires have been lit, and you have been called.

Players: 3-5 Description: quote:You are working stiff stationed on the starfreighter USCSS Montero, an independent charter vessel running “the Gauntlet”— the trade route between the thriving Anchorpoint Space Station and the "Frontier" of systems both colonized and uncharted. Your ship’s cargo hold is packed with dozens of tanks of rare and valuable Helium-3 gas fuel. The Montero's operation runs on a shoestring budget, and so you do not enjoy the use of tanker modules separate from the ship itself. The tanks sit in the cargo bay while you sleep. I will be providing copies of the quickstart to players - For this quickstart module, you'll have your pick of prefab characters.

Game: The Hand Follows The Eye System: The Zone Format: There is a free hosted online version of the game which is pretty slick. Here's a Discord for organizing. Players: 1-5, plus me. Session Schedule: I'm open to playing in sessions on Fridays after 4 PM PST, or on Saturdays beginning at 11 AM PST. Up to two hours per session. Description: A game of the Zone is basically Annihilation as a card-driven story game (think The Quiet Year with a little bit more meat). There is a (you guessed it) zone of strange and sinister physics / metaphysics, and the player characters have been assembled to investigate it. You are the 14th expedition. What happened to the previous thirteen, no one knows. This will be my first run with the system, so we'll go with the default game. If it turns out to play well, I'll likely be making my own hack to reflect something like Bloodborne instead of Annihilation.
