I get why they're doing it but this changes literally nothing for anyone with an ounce of technical sense.

If they're serious about this, odds are they'll try to "fix" that as soon as they realise. If they are serious, well, the move's already caused some backlash (can't gauge how serious yet, way too early to tell beyond the nebulous announcement that, all of a sudden, Hitbox had a large influx of folks.)

Going to try to stream Lichdom: Battlemage, where we're going to discover that Dragon Brought Back From The Dead With Magic Bracers doesn't have quite the same ring as that Robert Jordan series... But about as much scattering things into atoms. So it all balances out.

This time, we're helping a friendly alien save our planet from... Well, you'll see, winding back time to talk to a very curious biker, and hopefully both showing off another questline and some of the death states!

Also, midstream and at the end, we'll hunt up some Spider Robinson specialties. Folks who've played the game will know what I mean!

(Vids of the first session are up, by the way: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, and Part 4... After which. Hitbox shenanigans means there's a bit of a gap... :sigh:

Okay, it's time for a Friday ReviewStream, where I take a look at something on my review docket in front of you fine and lovely folks. Sometimes (like tonight) it's brand new, sometimes it's just something I hadn't gotten around to yet, and this week's is the Early Access Dungeon Kingdom: Sign of the Moon.

Does it look somewhat like Grimrock? Absolutely. Is it as high quality? ~~No idea as yet~~. Even for an EA blueprint, it's not exactly looking promising...
