What's the feeling on stream donations in general? I notice that some Twitch people do it, but I was informed "they're usually jerks".

I don't mean using SA or this thread or anything for plugging a donation stream, I just meant in the general case.

Generally, I'm against it. That said, I make exceptions if it's directed towards a charity, for example this year I will be taking part in Extra Life and so will be doing the whole "25 straight hours" thing.

I may be a little incoherent by the end but all the donations I ask for will be through EL and benefiting Boston Children's Hospital.
