Now that they have lower numbers people don't bother, when even other champions who took nerfs still see play (Renekton actually has a higher win rate than Irelia, even though Irelia is the one that is being called sleeper OP by Challenger players). It's worse for the game when champions like Renekton are good and I don't think Riot should be pushing us back towards them as model top laners. What makes him more boring to deal with than Lissandra, Maokai, Irelia, Riven, Jarvan, Jax or Gnar? What makes these champions exciting by comparison to lane against?

No, no, it's rather comfy under this bus. Bard Players: How early are you finding yourself actually leaving lane and being effective? So far, he seems to be all about leaving a stash behind the tower, sticking around to shackleshot every so often and... I dunno, occasionally opening a tunnel for the jungler. Mid-game seems pretty drat cool, but he seems like he really needs to and has trouble maintaining any sort of pressure in his lane. Too often games seem to turn into Bard disappearing for a second too long and bot lane losing any semblance of control or pressure, allowing the enemy support to feel free to roam and cause a ruckus. edit: ^^^ also what pog's saying, laners being able to get some extra efficiency out of the jungle between waves and also getting a really efficient ability that, for most of them, essentially replaces ignite but on a way shorter cooldown (and it has damage reduction)... kind of good! It's mostly the cinderhulk part of it that's boring, especially when it's Shyv or her ilk showing up.
