Really, it's been said many times before but beside from the clunky rear end interface and FMV this game really was ahead of its time. The only game I can think that has a similar setup of "completely turning what you thought of the story and characters on their head due to the choices you make" is Alpha Protocol. This game is nearly twenty years old and there's very few games that have even come close to rivaling it in that regard.

Holy hell, Ed was difficult. After all this time we finally got some answers on what this whole deal was about. My understanding so far was that Vito only did a massive brain orgy and walked off-stage while the viewers were distracted, making it seem as if he had vanished in thin air for some kicks. It might have made more sense if there was a bit more content after the final performance. I guess that's part of the ride in a game that lets the player draw his own conclusions.

Watching this makes me kinda sad this game didn't get any recognition in its time. It seems to have a lot of stuff I look for in games- replayability, lots of content to discover, a sense of humor, actual reactions to player choice. I wish I could see the stuff Spaxter and co. could turn out if they kept making games.

Agreeing re: Cowboy Who?, it's the most glorious of public access television shows I've ever seen. I remember watching like 20 solid hours of it half a year ago because I was laid out with some sickness.
