Hi PI! In an effort to make our subforum a more casual, engaging place to post in, we're making some changes to the rules: 1. One-shot/discussion threads for PI relevant content are permissible and encouraged. Find a weird animal video? Share it. Come across an interesting article? Post about it. It doesn't just have to be pets, wildlife is a-okay as well. Many people post memorial threads for their pets that have recently passed, and if you've recently suffered a loss you can do that too. 2. Conversation-style posting (incl. low-content/no-content/drunk-posting) is perfectly fine. 3. Hate speech and NWS images are not fine. 4. Don't take criticism personally. Critique of your animal's care or situation is meant to help improve both your life and your pet's. Getting defensive won't help anything! Oh, and ironic tildes are okay again.
