Stay employed, but start looking for other jobs. If you have any spare time at work during the day, use it to learn new skills in your field, especially stuff you can put on your resume. There are plenty of free courses online these days, I'm sure you can find something to immerse yourself in. Basically your mindset needs to be, "how can I use this job as a stepping stone/springboard to get a better job?" If you don't have three to six months of living expenses saved up, it's a good idea to take care of that during this time too.
