Well wasn't that intro just the most pastoral thing ever? Seriously, though, I really like the dynamic they're setting up here. ...how long has it been since there was a dude starring in an Atelier game? Does Mana Khemia count?

Ah, continuity. So can you actually see what items are in a gathering spot before you sink time into getting them?

Well, that was pretty simple. Have Neutralizers been out of the game for a while? I know they were important in early Atelier games, but I don't think they've been touched on in the later LPs.

I like how Escha and Logy both pass on the Ruin Pendant for completely different reasons.

The animation for eating in combat is amazing. I hope the other characters have something similarly wonderful. Can you set the level of everything you encounter, or just the slags?

Are there obstacles that require other things? Like, you need some kind of ice-effect stuff to get through a stretch of desert?

I do like it when a game responds to you paying its "ridiculous price" for something.

Good lord that last scene with Escha. They are just jamming the "pastoral" button as hard as they can. Also I love that little scene with the homonculi. Stories are like candy for brains!

This airship is a pretty neat game-long quest, just because so many people can end up getting involved with it.

I love that you're using alchemy to make a replacement priceless jewel artifact that a spirit is missing. It's like, somewhere else this would be a sidequest possibly involving comedic bandits, but here? LET'S MAKE SOME poo poo.

Harry's conversations with fellow item enthusiasts are just beautiful. Also I like to think that the Fire Lord just completely marked out over that new jewel once the party was out of sight. And lastly... we have something very interesting to show Clone, don't we?

A biological interface, huh? Well, that explains something from the previous game.

drat. How big is the intact part of the world? How much is gone? We probably have no sense of scale.

I can just imagine Keithgriff opening that notebook with a sarcastic note to anyone from Central City that this is the kind of research you should be doing, dickbags.

But... what was that station doing, all this time? I suppose the white flowers are a thing, but did it just hibernate from some time long in the past, until we went up there?

Aviator gear really looks good on Logy. This whole end of the world thing is... really worrying. Was there a sequel to this game or is that still in development?
