Sadly, pin-ups on ships are pretty common in x-wing. Some people seem to be doing it ironically or in reference to classic WW2 bomber paintjobs. Others are just creepy.

Given the originals ww2 in space combat, nose art is fairly fitting. Quality and stylistic choices are generally a bit closer to van art though.
