He can be saved (if you want to). It would make a great experiment actually, so send him to me.

I don't think i want to save him. It's from a friends craigslist finds and i think he'll be my painting totem. maybe put a new layer on him each time i'm done using a particular color in my pallette

i bought a random mix of warhammer 40K guard stuff for 10 bucks plus shipping, because there was a gunnery sergeant harker and an old commisar in it. it also contained these... things

I feel like contributing some of my early works in modelling and painting

These are from my very first space marines, a homemade chapter i called Metal Marines (because i sprayed them black and drybrushed boltgun metal all over them)

This one is a re-run:

I do wish i still had good ol' DIYnaught. made from whatever bits i could find in my dad's workshop.

In today's "IT CAME FROM FACEBOOK" we'll be taking a look at a space marine... centaur cat thing?

Apparently it's meant to represent an SM biker, and it's very well done, technically. i just don't understand! also the spine on that thing must be reinforced.

In todays Episode of "IT CAME FROM FACEBOOK!" We'll be taking a look at the Drop Predator, made by Mr. hawkes.

Mr. Hawkes says this about his creation:

Facebook posted:

I'm going to say it's "Finished" for now (The modelling), turned out alright considering I have never used plasticard before. I mean, it HAS been out fighting for a good 1000 years so it will have some crude "repairs"... The whole concept behind it is essentially a "Drop Predator". It would be dropped from orbit - using thrusters to manoeuvre/slow down - then the giant shock absorbers in the feet would lessen the impact. Then it would go and BURN SOME HERETICS. Feel free to comment.

We'll be back tomorrow with a bike made from Nicolas Cage's shattered dreams!

UPDATE: Shocking new footage

yep, greenstuff that poo poo. I've bought some stuff from Raging Heroes, just to get some sort of gender variety in my goddamn cadian army (a tank commander and a sniper) and i went for the most tasteful ones they had. also Harry the hippo! (he'll be a comissar)

I'd love this if the color schemes between the mount and the bot matched up better. It's awesome, but it definitely looks like two unrelated models that just kind of got sat on top of each other.
