Ugh. What is it with nerds and assuming that corruption = Tits n' Battlethongs when it comes to lady characters?

Y'know, I would have bought this. This was exactly just I had in my head for my 30k Mechanicum's Archmagos. I woulda replaced the silly scythe, but I love the Doc Ock arms and the living saint vibes from the pose and the 'halo'. But y'gotta have those neckbeard monies so silly pointless battle bikini we go.

I suppose, don't trust my own greenstuffing skills but it can be done. It's mostly just that there's so much going for that model, and then it's like the modeller threw in the tits right at the end just because.

All of them look like they're skipping around the battlefield all la-de-da. GW Sisters may have similarly egregious boobplate, but at least they look like they're actually in the thick of the fight.

Yup. I just can't build up the scorn for this guy. His obvious deficiencies in talent are offset by his sheer enthusiasm for his crazy DIY army, it's strangely endearing. I'd rather 10 of that guy than say a Doc Thunder or any of the creepy weirdos featured in this thread.

The Chapter Master of the Celestial Lions from Helsreach (I think) is a black dude, most of the other Lions described seem to be to. Generally it stems from GW being ran by old white nerds and being a little deaf. While they're not doing poo poo like pygmies any more, they seem to have a serious lack of any sort of representation. Though they are aware of it, and I know AoS seems to have a few more named non-white characters.

It pays to be instantly suspicious if a company will only show greenstuff/3d render pictures of the model. If they're not confident enough to show the finished product then they ain't worth your time tbh.
