What is all this talk about multiple Hobbit movies?

There was one movie. It just happened to be long, and I had to watch it over 3 years (which is not the case on BluRay).

The two DPM patterned trousers are legit though. Actually except for the Tiger Stripe pattern, they all look fairly spot-on for the type of camouflage being done (although I thought that DPM had black in it).

Also, none of them are wearing the green used by German tanks in 1941.

Though really, only an idiot would use Baneblade chassis for the crawler when you have cheaper model tanks in 1/32 to serve the same purpose.

But those aren't OFFICIAL GAMES WORKSHOPS MODELS and therefore wouldn't be tournament legal (for some sort of Apocalypse tournament I guess).

Yeah, this anatomy issue is one area where the heavy armor stuff from Infinity is super-cool:

They bypass the whole thing by leaving the pilot's arms exposed and just having the armor's arm motions mimic those of the pilot.

That's great until a missile blows off your arms. Sort of defeats the point of armor to just leave bits exposed, doesn't it?

I bought the Battletech Starter Box and it includes a wonderful guide on painting. All the example models are the ugliest, most garish pieces of poo poo I've ever seen.

The models are fine (for what they are), the painting in the guide is utter garbage.

The camospecs.com website isn't as bad, though, so I can't get examples.

I prefer games without dodge rolls, but that may be because I only play historicals in eras with bullets. Even an armor save is pointless for most infantry.

Just make it harder to hit them if that's the case.
