Ones I've played that are better: Mario Kart DS, Sonic and Allstars Transformed, Crash Team Racer. There's probably a million actual car racers that I consider better, also.

speaking of racing games: whatever happened to dirt bike and atv tricks games? do they still make those?? i remember some on playstation and they were awesome. jumping 50ft up in the air doing can-cans and front flips and poo poo. now all i can find is "trials" which is a loving scam imho (a flash game sold for >$3 wtf people)

N64 had a shitload of good racers. Even weird poo poo like iggy's Wreckin' Balls. Dreamcast still had the superior version of Hydro Thunder though.
