Less than a week until the season starts and nary a trace of a new kicker eliminator thread, the great idea IcePhoenix had last season. But it was so much fun that I guess I'll run it this year A reminder of the rules IcePhoenix posted:With all the eliminators out there, I wanted to come up with something a little different. Something that can make even the biggest blowout meaningful. So I thought to myself, how about an eliminator that focuses on the most loved and hated guys in football? I've run Kicker Eliminator at another forum for the past few years and most people love it, so I thought I would bring it to all of you. So let's get started with the basics! A whopping 23 players bit the dust this week, leaving 33 remaining alive We have lost 11 players in three weeks (two really since everyone picked the first week) to the dreadedly terrible kicker, NO PICK I'm out, so the game is over Ok I'll keep running it, good luck to the remaining players

If I have more time next year I'll consider instituting a bye week for people who forget to pick/miss it during the first week and want to join late I would need time to iron out some rules about the bye if someone hangs onto it until the very end though... or maybe I would reward them for taking the risk of picking every week to that point and let them have bye vs kicker, who knows

Part of the problem is if I check this thread at work and forget which post I left off on, I miss picks that way because Google drive is blocked on the corporate network and I can't update the spreadsheet. I guess they're worried about people hosting confidential work related documents on a platform they don't control.
