My space invaders story: a friend made a "post your picture" thread on ffgoons and space invaders and her clique immediately jumped on the thread and tried to slut shame the guy because he clearly made the thread to try and pick up chicks by getting his picture posted on the forum. Chairman eventually stepped in and told her to shut up and someone made a normal post your picture thread later. it was the most  poo poo I've ever seen in an mmo and I kept a wide berth from everything goon squad related and mostly only stayed in the guild for lack of a better one to be in. I'd play FF14 with guild chat disabled and only talked in a few private linkshells with friends.
