EA finally doing something about coin buyers/sellers

I actually enjoyed playing against stacked teams who were poo poo.
They have said this about literally every version since FUT came out and it never happens also those stacked teams are always awful anyway so who loving cares (apart from EA beacuse it loses them money but I don't really give a poo poo about that)

They haven't taken this stance before and come out with a system such as bans and offences. And it matters because it really fucks with the market and makes the premium players super expensive. I don't care about playing stacked teams. I'd rather have a market where more players are affordable, so I hope this system works and gets rid of some of the lovely bot farmers.
Buying/selling coins has been a bannable offence since forever, I guess this sort of publicity drive is new but I'll believe it when I see it wrt them actually coming down hard on it AND succeeding in driving it away (I suspect all that's gonna happen is some poor small-time suckers are gonna get dinged for it while the huge coin-farming/coin-selling companies just keep on rolling, making the whole exercise dumb and arbitrary). I guess it might sink prices slightly but tbh as someone who's played since FUT's inception on PC I've never felt the prices were anywhere near unreasonable anyway, but the way I play (heavily specialised hybrid teams and playing the market for coins) probably colours my perspective some?

I agree with all of this. I really do hope it is at least somewhat successful, because I enjoy manually flipping cards and making coins and bots really hosed with that towards the middle of the year, to the point where they shut down the online web app.
Yeah that did admittedly kinda suck, although at least the Android/iOS apps still worked (I actually don't think it worked with regards to shutting down the bots at all because I regularly saw players who always had at least a certain bid on them and that persisted 24 hours a day so good job there EA)

I will say out of 8 online games for UT, 3 of them I finished the game (win or lose) and it says "error to UT, disconnecting" to come back to a DNF loss and no coins. 3 out of 8.
Would you say you eight it?

Bony has went up twice as much as when I bought him as well.

I am realizing that it started me with Ramsey as my best player so I decided to go ahead and do an EPL team, and just how boring it is because you just end up with top 4 team players mixed together.
You could say this about basically any non-hybrid gold team tbf, EA's ratings have always been dictated to a ridiculous extent by "well, does he play for a big club or Man Utd"

I feel like I am missing something here. Why are rare managers going for 4000 coins? Shouldn't you just stack standard gold managers for 1% bonuses? You can get them for about 200 coins.
Can't have more than one of the same manager (so you hit a limit really quickly), also non-rare managers didn't add anything to contracts before FIFA 15 so I guess that mentality probably influences it a bit

Non-rare managers absolutely added to your contract percentage before FIFA 15. And you can reach the 50% mark with strictly non-rare managers.
Apparently I'm thinking of FIFA 13, w/e, old habits die hard
