I'm hoping to move into my own place soon. First time living on my own and I'm bothered that I'll be losing the social aspect of sharehousing. So im thinking of getting a ferret. I've read they smell and poop everywhere. But they look so cute, and im looking for a pet with personality thats smaller than a cat.

Signed a two year lease. Got told I can't have a noisy pet, and that needs to be encapsulated. He means a fish but I can interpret that as a ferret. He never inspects... Ferts
