Cocks Cable posted:It looks like Skye is dressed in covert mission attire. Does this mean she gets some real training between seasons is now more of a field agent than support? I'd imagine Skye is going to be a badass this season; not to the extent of Agent May, but I doubt she's going to be sidelined as often as she was in the first season. Coulson is going to need as many field agents as he can get this year.

Yeah, i'm seconding the "Muad'Dib pretends to help Whitehall with the obelisk and then fucks HYDRA over at the soonest opportunity to either protect Skye or kidnap her for himself" storyline possibility. That does kinda seem plausible. I mean, yes, he's clearly some sort of insane evil genius who, for a human, has an unusual knowledge of Marvel Universe alien tech (which will have to be explained at a further date), but he doesn't seem like the kind of evil genius who works well with others. HYDRA is probably just a means to an end like ApeHawk suggested.

Also, Skye being seemingly immune to the Kree formula and her potentially being able to translate the etchings leads me to believe that this season might reveal to us which one of her parents had the alien DNA. I'm thinking it's her mom, her dad being from space seems like it'd be too obvious at this point (his unusual knowledge of alien tech not withstanding).

Yeah, Grant Ward looks like he's in his early 30's. (Brett Dalton is 31) Christian Ward looks like he's pushing 50. (Tim DeKay is 51) Momma Ward waited 20 years inbetween children, apparently.

NowonSA posted:Hopefully the Bobbi and Mack mystery will be resolved within the next two episodes, Well, i'd hope not. AoU doesn't come out until May 1st. I doubt they'd implement an AoU plot device in March and then make people wait a month or so for the payoff. The season 2 finale takes place on May 19th. So if there's an AoU "aftermath" payoff similar to The Winter Soldier, it'll probably happen on the May 4th episode.
