Is Glyde generally as reputable as Swappa? Glyde's prices seem to be consistently lower (at least on the 5S's I've been looking at) but their minimal descriptions aren't as helpful as those on Swappa.

Is there a way to play music while listening to a podcast without jailbreaking? I need as many audio layers as I can get. I usually use Downcast if that helps at all.

How is the Amazon prime music app? Anyone tried it? I'm expecting it to suck but I'm not going to subscribe to Apple Music or Spotify so if it's half decent then I guess it'll do.

E- just started checking it out and it seems very hit or miss.

Since we're in the subject, how do you get Overcast to sort by download date instead of alphabetically?

For example Downcast puts the podcast with the most recent episode up top and tells me when it updated:

Instead of this view on overcast which doesn't tell me much except for an alphabetized list of the podcasts I subscribe to

I'm sure I'm missing something obvious.

E- looks like I have to do it with a playlist, hosed up if true

I'm looking for a recommendation on a durable portable battery that will get me at least 2 full charges on an iPhone 6 Plus.

I haven't bought one in a while and I have never heard of brands like Jackery and Lumsing. The last one I owned was a RAVPower which developed loose jacks pretty quickly.

iOS does have logic to keep track of what audio app you typically use when attached to a bluetooth audio device so it eventually learns to default to that app, which is the other half of the magic.

The only logic I see is that it wants to make me use music.app, which I never ever use except for when I connect to my girlfriends car and the one album I have on music.app starts playing the same goddamn song.

It's worth it for humor value but I use a lot of music apps and it never goes to any of them.

Mine does that in the cold too, doesn't need to be below freezing and it can shut down at almost any battery level. If I'm going to use my phone outside at all I pretty much have to keep an external battery with me.

Sometimes in safari I'll click on a google link and it takes me to what I think is a google cached version of the page, I usually only notice it if I copy the URL and it's a google address.

Like I just googled "best yarlers" and clicked on the first link, which took me to this url: https://www.google.com/amp/www.metalsucks.net/2013/12/12/top-ten-yarlers-time/amp/

There's a little link button up top which I can click to go to the actual site, but why is it doing that rather than going to the site directly?

Maybe one of you can solve a workplace debate:

Most of us on this job have iPhones but a few have android. If someone iMessages a video shot on an iPhone to one or more other iPhones it comes through in decent resolution. If there's one android in the group it sends as a text and it comes through crappy for everyone.

The android people are saying that's a dick move on apple's part. Isn't it just a limitation or normal texting? Does android to android video get compressed to poo poo too?

Does Bluetooth audio get better than that or does it just often sound like a broken headphone jack?

Have you tried different Bluetooth headphones? I can tell you it's not normal to lose connection to a phone in your pocket, even in a very busy city. That is something that happens to very cheap, bargain basement Bluetooth headphones.

I tired some cheapo headphones but they weren't worse than my Plantronics headset which isn't fancy but not bargain basement. My friend at work just got some expensive Bose noise cancelling headphones so I asked if he's been having better luck than me and he reported having a fair amount of audio dropouts too. I never lose connection completely but those little bits of silence are anointing as hell. Maybe I'll try the w2 models the other guy mentioned.
