Steven needs to come back to the show part time to ground the gently caress out of Oliva as she has become the worst character on the show. Even Quinn seems to have more sense then she does. Why didn't Fitz throw it in her face she launched a Coup when he was shot and in a coma. They would do anything for each other and they should just get on with it. Go full on crazy with a poly White House. Also Huck crippling the VP was great.

Despite it being a soap version of a black kid being shot by a white cop it was handled fairly well and the guilty cop had a rant about how when he's treated as an enemy he has to be extra careful blah blah blah but it was mostly the typical "I protect these streets and don't deserve to get in trouble for a simple mistake"

Sally is fun but this was the worst episode. A scandal I didn't care about padded with flashbacks I didn't care about, hooray. Cyrus's wig was less desperate than the effort to make his husband sympathetic.

Fitz remains the worst part of this show. I understand his expulsion of Cyrus (actively and knowingly working with Rowan is fairly unforgivable), but getting so sanctimonious with Mellie and throwing her out is over the line. And I was really hoping there would be some kind of crazy twist at the end instead of just Fitz and Olivia making out. Weak ending. I really hope that's not the last we've seen of Rowan either, since Joe Morton's venomous monologues are pretty much the main reason I've been watching.
