Basically every time Araujo attempted to grapple Sullivan overpowered him and punished him with huge strikes in the clinch and on the ground. If you rewind to just before the finish you can see that he pulled guard the last time because Sullivan is battering his ribs, and then he takes another couple hard body shots and goes limp. He's not defending himself at all when Sullivan puts his hand on his face and punches his head off.
