Is there something in this sentence you think is incorrect? Maybe you want to talk about breeder reactors and afterwards we can discuss converting our cars to run purely on water.

Silicon is a finite non-renewable resource as well, even the universe is finite. If there is so much of it that it would satisfy our needs for hundreds or even thousands of years it might as well be infinite as far as political/economical decisions are concerned.

Which is a completely unrelated argument because the "finiteness" of nuclear fuel has no bearing at all on how dangerous or costly it is to process the waste.
