yeah that's fair, but I think Drew could've added a lot to the spoilercast thing so i'm still kind of bummed out. talking about it with dan is one thing but it would've been cool if he could have joined the discussion then, since I doubt they'll all get together yet again to talk about MGS5 exclusively

In Training posted:It looks like one of those games where you're supposed to feel bad for playing the game how it was designed, which is the lamest way to make a game. It's like of someone made a movie that's just 90 minutes of the director saying "gently caress your turn this off." nah, like it'll give you some poo poo for killing everything you see, but the pacifist playstyle and aggressive playstyle are basically the same, and it uses it as a way to mess with the plot a lot. there are some ways you can go about playing it that change up the entire story, and since the characters are actually fun its easier to give a poo poo than most games. since its only 10$ i'd say it's at least worth a shot imo e: youre still supposed to play it as a pacifist if you want the good ending but you can literally kill everything in the entire game and there are actual huge plot and gameplay changes for doing so. its awesome and im sorry to say that if anyone doesn't like it, they're balls klapman fucked around with this message at 02:56 on Sep 29, 2015 |

Clear Sky is cool mostly because of some of the environments, especially the starting area, but the faction stuff is completely not worth messing with and the ending is easily the worst and I would rank the final boss fight as pure filth personally. Pripyat is one you would want if you wanted to know what if people with brains made a game like Elder Scrolls or a Bethesda Fallout or whatever. SoC and CoP are must plays frankly and CS is cool, but there's stuff about CS and CoP that make them not quite an epic adventure as SoC was. I saw clear sky had a mod that expanded on the faction system, have you played that one? If it makes the faction stuff worth messing with then the next time i'm on a Stalker kick i'll play CS instead of CoP.

I've heard the East guys are doing some fun stuff so I'll probably try a premium trial for that, but as for West everything I've heard has just been terrible lately.
