Can’t comment on the paid features but the free tier of Life360 works well and doesn’t drain the battery excessively. HTH op

All this talk about classical music nudges me to ask a semi related question. Is it possible to search other people’s playlists somewhere? I’ve been wanting to find music with a strong orchestral background that isn’t classical, e.g. lots of movie soundtracks or albums like Metallica’s S&M concerts… it’s not a specific genre and searching for “orchestral” just returns artists with that in their name. I’m sure someone else has already compiled a playlist like this already so wondering if there’s a place that these things can be shared and searched publicly.

I'm sure you've seen this, but Apple Music can do this. Type "orchestral" into the Search tab and hit the Search button. After hitting the search button filters will display at the top, and one of the options is "Playlists". Tap that. The first 50 or so results is Apple Music generated playlists and then everything below that is user playlists. You can tell because it has usernames like "@cjay87 (Andrew Llanos)" as the playlist author. The more words you add to the query (ie, "orchestral metal") the more varied the user playlists. It's not super extensive but it's a starting point.

One of the selling points of Apple Music originally was supposed to be the amazing human curation. "We have a specialist in rockabilly metal curating weekly playlists!" They must have fired all of those people and be using crappy Siri AI because I'm not super thrilled with their playlists generally. But I might just be overly picky in what I want to listen to sometimes.

It seems I really just wasn’t looking at the UI close enough (or probably just seeing the initial suggestions for “orchestral” without actually tapping the search button, but this looks exactly like what I was after

I have a very strange new problem. If anyone sends me an instagram link, so far in WhatsApp or iMessage, I get to see a fraction of a second of the video and then it switches to a different video.

Normally just go back to messaging app and click again and it usually works, but now I’ve got a link that refuses to open and I get a different video every time.

Very very strange.

Same has been happening to me for the past few weeks
