"Ah," Ratz had said, at last, "the artiste."
I like that you made the exact same amateur mistakes I did during my ill-fated LP, like trying to barter with moon sugar and messing up the scripting for Fargoth. Your PC even started freezing right around the the third update :allears:

Also, if you're having trouble smacking around mudcrabs, maybe try your Orc berserker abilities. If I'm remembering right it pretty much guarantees you'll hit whatever you attack, even if you're blind drunk and your stamina is so low you're about to fall over.

E: I am an idiot. I was thinking it gave you negative to hit because Agility but apparently I have terrible memory! (Fortify attack 100 just gives you +100% to hit)

I think its the opposite? Because it reduces your Agility by what is it, 100? And agility (plus skill, plus fatigue) affects your ability to hit. It just lets you hit real real hard hard.

E: It gives Fortify Attack 100, and Drain Agility 100. The wiki says you get +Chance to hit equal to Fortify attack (so, +100) minus having no agility and falling over?

Agility does influence your hit rate, but Fortify Attack influences it more. I'm pretty sure you get staggered no matter what if you're hit while Berserk, which is rather amusing to me.

He means a spell that drains magicka from other targets and recharges your own reserves.

If I am not mistaken, there's a really easy way around this limitation, but I can't quite remember. Albeit, you might want to start out by researching what cheap and easy to obtain ingredients you can find to make magicka potions.

And then not make them right away, break the alchemy system first.

Precisely. Spell Absorption is no good to me when I'm fighting someone who doesn't use magic. A magicka absorption spell basically means magicka regen on demand. Combine that with Absorb Health and I've just taken the first step towards breaking the game over my knee. :P

I got some bad news. The spell effect you're looking for doesn't exist in the game. There is a scroll you can buy that does this and there are some magical items that have this effect but there are no spells, not in the base game and not in the expansions.

However: here's another small pointer. Morrowind has some confusing spell effects that aren't always clear so a small pointer on the glossary used.

Damage [health/magicka/attribute]: permanently lowers [health/magicka/attribute] of the target by X amount. Can be undone by drinking restore [...], most prayer altars and certain spells.
Drain [health/magicka/attribute]: lowers [health/magicka/attribute] of the target by X amount until the spell expires, at which point the target gets [health/magicka/attribute] back to its previous amount.
Absorb [health/magicka/attribute]: lowers [health/magicka/attribute] of the target by x amount and gives the caster that amount. When absorbing attributes (like absorb strength) the effect is temporary.

Well, there's always the case to be made for ALSO joining the Fighters Guild so you can diversify and not be quite as doomed when you're low on magicka.

Robes are working as intended, they go over your armour. Stuff like Shirt, Pants and Belts go under it. Then you have your armour layer. Then you have robes. And remember everything can be enchanted seperatly, this includes the left and right versions of things as they are not a set in Morrowind. Also it lets you make some cool looking armour options.

That reminds me: as soon as you get to Balmora, acquire pauldrons.

That's so :jeb: :stare: It's brilliant. But really, once you get a decent alchemy skill and/or some funds to buy potions with (and/or steal everything in the mage guild) lack of magicka regen becomes a triviality.

Also generally Absorb spells and effects are always lower in number than Drain. Sticking Absorb Stamina on your weapon if you are gonna swing it around a lot (and not use the stamina recovery pants) is a decent way to keep your stamina high, remember most enemies also have a stamina stat that they need as well, reduce it to 0 and they fall down.

As an aside, in Morrowind Unarmed combat strikes at the enemy stamina, and when they fall down due to its depletion it can damage the target's health: since Fatigue is so important, it usually allows a pugilist character to reduce the enemy's to-hit-chance with a few successfull swings enough to make it so the target is unable to hit back the player reliably (if at all).
Meanwhile in Oblivion and to a lesser extent Skyrim unarmed combat is really more of a gimmick, although in the latter game you can make any character throw punches so hard that they will kill every enemy in a single hit by abusing the Enchanting system. :haw:

Pretty much, although as long as you learn the enchantment from the Gloves and abuse the Fortify Alchemy/Enchantment loop you don't really need to be a Khajiit or to buy the Fists of Steel perk to one-shot everything with your fists.
I believe, though, that you can get a similar result with Fists of Steel if you abuse the Fortify Blacksmith in a similar way to get an insane armor rating on a pair of heavy armor gauntlets.
The Khajiit bonus to unarmed damage is fixed, however, so it's handy early on if you want to play a pure pugilist but once you break the system it no longer matters.

Morrowind was sort of where the whole ordeal of modern porn mods started, though with nobler intentions of simply improving the body mesh they also decided while working on it "why not naked and remove trousers so that the few NPC's that are naked are actually naked?"

Since then, it has been a plague on the modding scene of pretty much every game since.

Morrowind was where it started with noble intentions of realism, immersiveness and "mature" gaming experiences.

Oblivion was where it went right down the rabbit hole into full kinky porn dungeon fetish mode. And then F03 helped spread it out of the fantasy world into the post apocalyptic world.

Ah, I found a place to buy FAKE Jackal skulls (which seems better anyway, given you don't anger any native spirits): http://www.skullsunlimited.com/record_species.php?id=1409
Just the low-low price of 92$ (which is admittedly more than ebay, but at least you get a proper BRAND fake-skull) plus whatever shipping you end up using (and the bribes to get someone to ship it for you, if the site doesn't offer it. I can't really see anything one way or another)
That's specifically the black-backed Jackal, though - you'll have to go searching on your own if you want a different sub-species.
