I'm confused about people complaining about Fumina losing to the Mantis Dude when "Bad guy makes a Sudden Revelation/Declaration of Badness[/i] -> 'Whaat!?' Gundam Hero is shocked and stunned! -> Bad guy uses this temporary distraction to deal a crippling blow" is a staple of Gundam fights in every series and has downed plenty of power Gundam Protagonists in the past.  Hell, I think it happened to Reiji at least once in GBF.

What I'm looking forward to is seeing what happens when the wear and tear of gunpla battle inevitably catches up to the Build Burning and/or it gets badly mauled during a high damage level setting fight. Will any of the three be good enough builders to properly repair Sei's master level design? I mean, so far the Burning hasn't taken any major hits, but that won't last. Granted plot events might result in that, but I'm pretty sure he was just handing a building competition trophy to Yuuma last episode, with the implications the award was given just before the episode, since everyone was congratulating him about it.

One thing I finally noticed while rewatching both episodes is that the Build Burning doesn't seem to have traditional booster thrusters. Instesd it thrusts around using raw Plavsky Particles. What the hell, Sei. Also that rival(?) Destiny into the OP seemed to have an RG Knuckle style attack, maked me wonder if more Fighters are starting to use Plavsky trickery.

Yeah, but the top row has two Gyans Sazaki built. So either Susumu was a wingman and let someone else use one of her brother's precious Gyans or they aren't Tournament Trios. [edit]

I dunno. She seems to have a sly side to her, she might decide to secretly investigate this game her lil'bro is playing. There is definitely more to Mirai than the surface suggests. I can't wait ti find out what it is, and especially see how Yuuma reacts. Yuuma was such a goof this episode.

The only nitpick I can make is I hope there will be a few battles where one or two of the members are outright defeated/destroyed in the progress of a battle. Especially if its up to the last member to defeat 2+ enemies in order to succeed. And I want that sole survivor to be Fumina.

Yeah, I skimmed through the fights of the earlier episodes and it seems... conflicting. In the match against Gyanko they glow, but in the previous episode the booster seems to be that recessed area below the two ports.   Sei and Plavsky Particles. (or just animators)

I admit, the honeymoon is starting to wear off.  That said, Gyanko's over the top "Death scene" was funny. She definitely should gone down better though, if not taking out the V Gundam girl, at least badly damage her (since Mega-Shiki and Sleggar are too "important future enemy" to hurt, or whatever bullshit).The R GyaGya remains the coolest Gunpla in the show though.
