According to Steve Austin in an interview with a UK wrestling podcast, Kane is "a real sweetheart". When the same podcast had Kane on and they let him know about Austin's comments, Kane tried to limply protest that he wasn't a sweetheart in order to salvage some tough guy monster cred, but you could tell he was genuinely moved by it.
