Yeah, I didn't like Flatout 2 very much because it just seemed like the publishers had gone ":byodood: JUST loving MAKE BURNOUT" and the game just didn't feel like the original Flatout. One of the things I loved about the original game was the whole demolition derby/folkrace aesthetic where even the best cars in the game were these lovely old Volvos or muscle cars. They also changed the handling to feel more like Burnout in Flatout 2, which was a massive disappointment because I liked the original handling.
