I got sent on an emergency out of country trip for work, and forgot to let the post office know before I went, so they started returning mail after the super tiny mailbox filled up :( If you are my Santa and your box was returned, please hit me up via pm. I am MORE than happy to reimburse for shipping. Sorry!

If you are my Santa and you haven't sent anything yet, awesome! Looking forward to stuff!

I got a wonderful box today!

It has two kinds of fudge (both very good!) And it has awesome bread (I love sweet bread for breakfast, and this one is elegant with brown butter!)

And it has a hand-made hat!

!!!

Wrought, you made me a hat!

You are the best Santa! Merry Christmas!

Yay! I'm so glad it found you on time and that you enjoyed it!

I was baking for two SS boxes and I made the mistake of cutting the PB fudge when it was still really soft, so I left it on the counter to cool down and firm up. Between Mr. W and myself sneaking pieces, well, let's just say that what you ended up with was more like a third of the original batch, not half. :-)

My package left the country yesterday in the early wee hours, after spending several days chilling at a postal warehouse about 15km from my house, for no good reason that I can fathom. Unless we get a Christmas miracle from customs and the USPS I doubt my santee will get their stuff before Christmas, despite the original shipping quote :(

I've already devoured the jerky, which was pretty goddamn good, I'm guessing you only used salt, pepper, and maybe a little sugar for seasoning?

The summer sausage is about half gone, that is some good stuff man!

The fudges are great, as are those nifty marshmallow fluff things.

I'm going to get around to trying the bbq sauce, might do a brisket or a pork butt in the next few days.

Thanks again Liquid Communism! Sorry it took me so long to post the pics!

It IS a Christmas miracle! The package arrived yesterday, and what was in it from the lovely Spadoink?

Delicious baked goods (everyone else in the apartment was told to ASK before eating it all, particularly the peanut brittle) and traditional Newfoundland Christmas candy (it made me a little homesick - not because I'm from Newfoundland, but in Idaho there's a candy bar that you either love or loathe called an "Idaho Spud" (http://www.idahospud.com/bar-idahospud.html) that's marshmallow, chocolate and coconut, and I love them).

Along with the tasty treats was a zip drive with molasses cookbooks and a Newfoundland Christmas album - I learned that Christmas music in Canada is just as schmaltzy as it is in the US ;)

And best of all (because of timing), Canadian maple mustard. Little did Santa know that I've got a corned beef cooking sous vide, and will be making homemade pretzels to go with for Christmas, and so the mustard will have pride of place at the table. Good job, Santa!

Thank you Spadoink, you spent a lot of time on this, and I love it all. From one law firm minion to another, Merry Christmas!

Chef de Cuisinart, thank you so much!

On the menu:

Rum truffles (regrettably, the bag split in transit and they were a bit broken up but I'm sure they are delicious nonetheless)
Habanero BBQ sauce
Habanero "fuckin" salsa (label on jar lid appreciated)
Desert honey (of which I thought you misspelled "dessert" but then realized it was honey from the loving desert in Mexico)
A delicious looking chocolate bar I can't wait to eat while drunk later tonight

Finally...a loving signed copy of Medium Raw by Anthony Bourdain!!! Where the gently caress did you get that?? I cannot wait to read it. I just got my girlfriend into No Reservations and Parts Unknown and she snapped it up before I even got a chance to get my hands on it.

We just got back tonight from Xmas with her family in Florida and she was wanting tacos so we're going to eat the poo poo out of your salsa. Thank you so much and Merry Christmas!!!

Holy Crap! My husband and I were sitting in our apartment watching a terrible movie (Dark Shadows, don't watch it) when there was a heavy rapping on the door. As it was after 9pm, we were both a little concerned, however, it turned out to be a Canada Post package delivery guy who must have confused am with pm, and was trying to deliver a package for ME! Kenning thank you! Five packages of various dried chiles that smell lovely and that I am excited to use, and two big ziplocs of homemade Christmas cookies! In addition to delivering deliciousness, the package arrival helped us to realize how terrible the movie was, so we could stop watching it, ahah! We ate cookies instead :)

I can't find the cord for our camera so despite taking some lovely blurry shots of all the goodies, I have to wait to upload them, which makes me sad, because everything is fantastic! Thanks again!

Hey! Guess what showed up this morning! A box from you with some crushed (but still awesome) pecan rosemary shortbreads, homemade beef jerky, some Stroopwaffels from the Netherlands and some Trader Joe's goodies. I don't know if you knew this, but TJ's stuff is pretty hard to come by here, I think there's a store that sells it somewhere in town, but that may be a Canadian urban legend.
