I almost choked on the chunk of burger I was stuffing in my face hole while reading. That is a bad muthafucking vise.

I'm jealous of all who live near this holy-land of automotive maintenance and questionable morals.

Catching up with this thread, and being generally unfamiliar with Rovers has been a continuous progression of what the gently caress.

Also; Adiabatic is a better man than most of us for not pushing the damned thing out of his garage and throwing a road flare in through an open window, and then relaxing with a beer in hand, enjoying the warmth of his new backyard RoverFire.

It's also got a significant price difference, something to the tune of $1k in price difference.

If you're doing anything that involves tearing into the major components of the driveline, it will take twice as long as you think it will, and you WILL NOT have everything you thought you'd need, whether it's parts or tools.

It's essentially Newtons Fourth Law.

This dude is a straight cowboy gun. Most of them come in silly plinker calibers like .22,. If you want to be a real cowboy, you get it chambered in a .44 Magnum. If you want to be a dumbass the most attractive, manly gentleman in the room, you get it chambered in .45-70 Government.

Seriously sexy rifle, right there.

A garage with climate control (lolmaybe) a lift, and hard-plumbed shop air.

That's the trifecta. You've arrived. Enjoy it.

Is your garage just the magnet for local thieves?

Didn't he kinda recently have a giant throbbing mass of homeless Subarus come through his garage?

*Wonders what the Venn diagram of his local thief population and local Subaru-driver population looks like.*

Ummm... I don’t know about that particular engine family, but I do know of quite a few where swapping bearing cap position is a no-no. Are you having it line-honed or bored when you’re done?
