Slow is Fast posted:Pro tip. Spin the motor over by hand with a breaker bar. If you feel compression with no gaps you're less likely to have a dumper of a motor. Better yet -- just take your cheap borescope (or borrow one if you're poor) and stick it down each of the plug holes... won't tell you everything, but it'll tell you if you've got piston pieces missing.
