I would be scared to get close to that thing for fear of the pressure suddenly snapping it and having giant wood splinters fly into my eyes... I'm curious what the inside of your house looks like. If they gutted the house down to the bare bones I wonder if there was a problem with cracks in the walls and ceilings prior to you purchasing it. Have you noticed any cracking since you've moved in? How about any new water damage? The new door looks great.
