I don't recall anything like that happening with Harvin, and I doubt two organizations could/would organize that kind of media blackout. Harvin absolutely had stories written about him being a pain in the Vikings locker room well ahead of his being traded. No one here faulted him for it, though, because the other side of the argument were Brad Childress, Rock Spielman and Leslie Frazier.
