I'm just impressed that for the first time in gaming history a game was announced with a release date of later in the year, and then was actually released on time. Edit: Actually now that I think about it sports games and Call Of Duty are never delayed.

two things turned me off of civ 5, that was how long games took even on the 'Quick' setting (like half a fuckin day unless you military rushed and then you don't get to see most of the game), and just how loving annoying managing workers was because putting them on automate turns them into retards also it took the computer AIs a lot longer to 'think' as you got into the game, even with a very good rig is any of this addressed at all
