It depends on how much you want to spend on feed. If you don't mind supplying hay and grain year round, 2+ goats (u gotta have at least 2 or theyll just yell all the time, bc Where Are The Other Goats) could live in a normal back yard. If you want them to browse or graze for most of their food, you'd need prob like an acre or so for a goat or two (or a lot more, or a lot less, depending on exactly how its planted)

I accidentally overdosed Dee with dewormer day before yesterday and it's given her runny poops which she has decided to deposit in their communal food trough.

Just take a peek. Make sure the feed is rodent free. Food safety can never be taken too seriously, Dee knows.

Nah, she's the only one. I have her and a nubian as milkers, one boer, and the rest are Kikos. I'm scaling back on goats next year though after kidding, because I want to focus more on pigs. Will probably keep her, the nubian, and maybe my boer buck, then send some of the kikos to freezer camp and sell off the rest.
